Therapeutic Art

Therapeutic Art is a self-development tool that uses various forms of artistic expression as a means of promoting healing, growth and self-exploration; uses the creative process of making art to help explore your thoughts, emotions and experiences and improve your physical, mental and emotional well-being.
Therapeutic Art can involve various art forms such as painting, drawing, sculpture, applied and other forms of creative expression. It can also encompass different techniques and approaches, depending on the client's needs and preferences.
This therapy encompasses all ages, including children, teens, adults and seniors, who may be dealing with a mental health challenge, emotional distress, trauma, grief or other conditions. It promotes self-expression, self-awareness, emotion regulation, stress reduction and personal growth and can be especially helpful for those who have difficulty expressing themselves through words alone.
